The Tulsa chapter of PRSA has more than 100 members in the public relations, communication, journalism, marketing and advertising professions. Members come from non profit, corporate and agency backgrounds and find networking with colleagues and professional development are the main benefits to their membership. Meet us

The Tulsa chapter meets monthly for lunch, except for a few times when other activities are planned. Most months, the chapter meets at 11:30 a.m. on the third Thursday of the month at the Philbrook Museum (link to www.philbrook.org). The months that we do not have a regular luncheon are:

October Professional Development conference (half or all day event)

December Holiday Party (evening reception)

Attend events

Members who attend events are the happiest members we have. Show up at our monthly luncheons and attend our special events. We guarantee you’ll make some great friends and professional contacts. Not to mention, you might learn a thing or two. See our calendar of events.

Win a SilverLink

Each spring a “call for entries” is distributed to Tulsa PRSA members asking for entries into that year’s SilverLink Awards. Enter your latest piece of writing genius or that long and tedious public relations campaign. Then, attend the awards banquet for a fine dinner, wine and awards galore. See information on our latest SilverLink event.

Be a leader

Tulsa PRSA members who are interested in chairing committees or serving on the board, should just SPEAK UP! Committee chairs are usually from the general membership. Board members typically serve as committee chairs before moving to the board. If you are interested, let the president know.
